American rapper, Marshall Bruce Mathers III, popularly known
as Eminem is showing gratitude to healthcare workers in his hometown,
Detroit.
All over the world, healthcare workers are in the frontline of the
battle against the deadly virus as they are doing their best to care for
patients and also ensure that the disease does not spread.
Meanwhile, Eminem’s hometown is one of the worst-hit places in the US. So, to appreciate them, the rapper donated food to them.
Although Eminem hasn’t spoken out about his donation, Henry Ford
Hospital, a beneficiary of his donation took to the social media page to
appreciate the entertainer.
“Our #HealthcareHeroes “lost themselves” in the delicious
Mom’s Spaghetti donated by Detroit’s very own, @eminem. Thank you for
providing a special meal for our team members!”
they wrote.
Popular Nigerian singer, Teniola Apata also known as Teni has
cried out that she has ran out of foodstuff at home as a result of the
lockdown of Lagos state
However, she has hinted that she would be moving to her elder sister, Niniola’s place as a result.
The singer made this known via a tweet she sent out on Thursday, 23rd April.
She wrote:
“Food don Dey finish for my house, Na to run go Nini side remain.”
A Nigerian woman has left music executive, Ubi Franklin shock after
she asked him about “mineral”, a term used for beverage drinks like;
coca cola and Pepsi when he went to share free food to the less
privilege amidst the coronavirus lock down.
Ubi Franklin had gone into collaboration with some other sponsors to
share food items to the needy across the state, an initiative he
recently started alongside his “Talks with Ubi” Instagram show.
However, the question asked by a woman who also came forward to
receive food has triggered different reactions from Nigerians who tagged
her ungrateful.
“No mineral?” She asked.
Nigerian musician, Paul Okoye has triggered a debate on
social media after he posted a photo with inscription that a man and a
woman will remain happy in a home if the man is the one fending for the
family, but the home will become a war zone with no private matters if
the woman takes over.
Paul made the post on Instagram on the 22nd of April and a lot of
celebrities and fans have joined the debate, with most women going
against him.

Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh, has expressed her disappointment towards service providers during the lockdown.
According to Tonto, it’s unfair for her to keep subscribing for services when service providers know the situation of things.
Taking to Instagram the actress expressed her frustration as she implores them to do better.

“This is very insensitive… So where Am I going to get the
money to pay you Dstv???? Or is there any work I’m doing that the
lockdown did not affect????
